Be local, bo vocal
Localizing content is an effective way to see improved results in whatever market you're trying to break into. Instead of only targeting your country's people, you will also be targeting those of cultural similarities or even the same nation altogether. You'll see new customers coming in from different cultures.
Speak their language
When your written content is translated, you avoid the risk of your readers finding offensive content, and therefore it is more likely for them to continue reading.
You have access to a wider customer base: imagine getting into an international market with language-specific keywords in hand, as well as with a greater understanding of the rules of the language and the unique aspects of the term you are using.
Our Amharic to Icelandic translation app is powered by the Google Translation API. This program converts Amharic into Icelandic within seconds by typing a word, phrase, or sentence into the left-hand text box and then clicking on the "Translate" button below. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
It has been developed to the extent that it can convert up to one paragraph of around 500 characters from Arabic to Icelandic translation and vice versa. Although this translation is not 100% accurate, you can pretty much understand what it's trying to say. In fact, with some minor editing, you can get a fairly accurate idea of what is being said. In fact, Google engineers are continuing their research and their efforts at Google in order to make translation software more intelligent and accurate over time.
From the birth of the Amharic language, linguists have known it to be one of the most difficult Ethiopian languages to learn and comprehend. For this reason alone, there is a need for an app like ours to be created. In order to serve the greatest population of Amharic speakers, we make it possible to translate from Amharic to Amharic or any other language, and vice versa, easy and free of charge. In today’s globalized world, there is a massive need for communication between people of different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds, and it is up to those who know and are familiar with these people to make sure everything is conveyed accurately and without the barriers language can often create.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our translation service uses Google/Microsoft/IBM/Amazon/Facebook servers that are capable of both machine learning, and deep learning. When you type a word, sentence, or phrase in Amharic - those servers analyse the sentence in Amharic and suggest a sentence in Icelandic that they think is accurate. They send you back a sentence in Icelandic and you either accept it, or tell it that you don't think it is accurate. Based on that info, they will change the way they translate in a manner of minutes or hours depending on the inputs. Any improvements to the system are based on how many people tell the machine that a translation is incorrect; the margins of error for each translation are constantly changing. We do not tell Google, Microsoft, or other cloud companies (Amazon, Facebook) the meanings of the words or sentences - the machine does that.

Machine translations give people an idea of what a sentence is saying in general, such as when translating Amharic to Icelandic. Google Translate — an example of a machine translator — will compare all the possible combinations compared to the words and phrases that make up both languages and match them up with other words equal in both languages. This way it can see what words and phrases mean when translated, and thusly provide near accurate translations.
