Pepper's Cancellation Policy

Pepper Content Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 having registered office at Flat no. 6, 3rd floor, BLK-b PKT 5, Sec 11, Rohini landmark, near MCD school, Delhi North West- 110085 (“Pepper Content”, “Company” or “we” or “us” or “our”), provides content creation and marketing services through its website available at peppercontent.in and peppercontent.io (collectively referred to as “Platform”).

Applicable to customers

We understand that customers (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) may in exceptional circumstances require to withdraw the order placed by them. This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) regulates the cancellation of orders by the Customer and lays down terms and conditions associated with any such cancellation request.

Any Customer who wishes to avail content creation services shall be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated in this Policy.

I. Cancellation

Once you create a Project (as defined in the Terms of Service) on the Platform, it cannot be automatically cancelled at any stage. In an exceptional circumstance that you choose to pause or cancel the Project, you may submit a request for the same by sending an email to support@peppercontent.in. Such requests will be reviewed by our team and may be accepted, rejected, partially accepted, or partially rejected, depending on the timeline of the Project.

II. Review Criteria

The request to cancel the Project will be manually reviewed and monitored by our team. The cancellation request will be accepted only if the reason for cancellation is well within the bounds of the initial information provided by you in the project creation process.

III. Payment

Post review of your request, if such request is accepted by us, you will have to make payment for the amount of work completed as stipulated by us in the acceptance email. Such payment will be based on the amount of work completed between the project start date and the date of cancellation. Also, the amount payable would be at Pepper Content’s discretion.

IV. Modification/Amendment

Pepper Content reserves the right to modify, amend, alter and/or vary the terms and conditions of this Policy at our sole discretion with or without providing you due notice of the same.

Applicable to creators

We understand that the Creator (“Creator”, “you”, “your”) may wish to cancel/reject an assignment allotted to them by Pepper Content. This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) lays down terms and conditions associated with cancelling/rejecting/passing of an assignment by any Creator.

Any Creator who chooses to create an account on the Platform and thereby wishes to provide content creation or marketing services to our Customers shall be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated in this Policy.

I. Rejection of assignment

  1. On receipt of an Assignment (as defined in the Terms of Service), the Creator will have an option to accept or pass (/reject) the assignment within the time period specified by us. On rejecting the assignment, you confirm your wilful rejection/passing of the assignment, and thereafter, we hold the right to reallocate the assignment to any other creator.
  2. Frequent cancellation of an assignment because of any reason, can affect the flow of assignments received by any Creator from us on grounds of responsiveness, loyalty and quality of association.
  3. The Assignment may be cancelled by us before or after you accept/pass an Assignment, we reserve the right to reallocate the Assignment to any other creator.

II. Cancellation

  1. The Creator may cancel the Assignment post submitting their formal acceptance of performing their services in lieu of such an assignment. Frequent cancellation of an Assignment after accepting because of any reason can affect the flow of assignments and put your association with Pepper Content on review on grounds of responsiveness, loyalty, and quality of association.
  2. At any stage of the assignment, we hold the right to cancel the Assignment before it is submitted by the Creator.
  3. There is no cancellation charge that Pepper Content or any of its affiliates levy on the creatorfor cancellation of the Assignment.
  4. If the Creator is not able to submit the Assignment within the agreed timelines, Pepper Content reserves the right to cancel the assignment without issuing any compensation for any percentage of the task completed.
  5. In case the quality of content submitted by you is not as per expectation (in terms of grammar, does not match the brief and instructions or is plagiarised) Pepper Content reserves the right to cancel/reject the submission by giving the reason for the same.

III. Modification/Amendment

Pepper Content reserves the right to modify, amend, alter and/or vary the terms and conditions of this Policy at our sole discretion with or without providing you due notice of the same.
