Lauren Sheppard is the Head of Brand and Content Marketing at Amplitude - an analytics platform that helps businesses understand user behavior to grow their products. 

She started off as a Marketing Strategy Intern at Avnet Technology Solutions. She then worked in PR and Media before joining Okta in 2015 where she grew in experience and position to the Director - Brand Communications + Content Marketing. Lauren spent 6 years at Okta before joining Amplitude.

Content marketing journey

At Okta, Lauren handled content marketing and brand communications - this included editorial, full-funnel content, video, social media, and much more. 

Throughout her career, she has led teams with empathy and the attitude of a mentor. Recently, at Amplitude, she spearheaded The Amplitude Guide to Product Metrics.
