Lauren Pope is a content marketing specialist with over eight years of experience. Her role in content began as an editorial intern at The Missouri Review and Persea Books. Over time, she has worked at several agencies and businesses including Fleishman Hillard, Chamberlain University, G2, and Oracle. 

I was told for years that I would never have a job in a trendy or booming industry like tech because of my background in writing. But I actually think my writing skills and soft skills in communication have been my greatest assets.

Content marketing journey

Lauren is an expert at teaching businesses the art of creating optimized content, how organic search can benefit them, and how to build a scalable content program. She has extensive experience working in tech and has led content teams across companies.

During her last role at Oracle, she worked on building their global editorial calendar for various campaigns including the Oracle Food and Beverage Blog, social platforms, et. She also collaborated with campaign managers and digital marketing to track content metrics, among many other activities within the team.
