Kristina Weis is the Senior Content Marketing Manager at GitLab. Her expertise lies in content marketing, social media, email marketing, and analytics. With over 10 years of experience at small and large B2B tech companies, Kristina has extensive experience wearing many marketing hats.
She started her career as a copyeditor at Clark College where she copyedited and wrote for The Independent newspaper. Kristina’s first stint in marketing was at AboutUs where she worked as the marketing and community manager.
After a couple of stints working in product marketing, she joined Puppet, a 500-person IT-focused software company, as senior content marketing Manager where she created a variety of content to grow organic traffic and demand gen. She also worked to successfully relaunch two websites, managed the brand’s social media accounts, and much more.

Across her career, Kristina has worked at various types of companies, from a small start-up where she built a wiki website and SEO audit tool, to being the marketing chair for a local organization for SEO and Marketing Professionals.
She has also worked on marketing new products for new audiences and was the first content marketer at Puppet. At GitLab, she is responsible for all things content.
